Bob Galarneau and the staff of Exclusive Computers and Digital Centre Ltd. have been taking care of the technological needs of Kirkland Lake and surrounding area for the past five years and continue to add more services to meet the growing and developing needs of our customers. Exclusive Computers and Digital Centre Ltd. has three separate parts that compliment and contribute to the whole of the company.

We are a full computer sales and service centre. We specialize in the sale of Acer, Touch Systems, Sony and Fujitsu computer systems. Our approach to people is focused on finding out what their needs are, educating them on their purchases and supporting them with their equipment. In a time of ever changing technology, Exclusive Computers welcomes the challenge of staying up to date so we are ready to support you with your new products.

Exclusive Computers also carries Printers, Inks, Digital Cameras, Digital Camcorders, Cables, Monitors, LCD TV’s, Memory Storage Devices and a whole host of other technical supplies. We pride our selves on educating the customer about the products they have purchased with us. If you don’t know how to use your equipment we are more than willing to work with you to teach you how to use them.

We have fluid approach to merchandising. We keep a modest inventory of computers and notebooks so that we can keep our pricing as up to date and competitive as we can. If it’s not here when you come in we can usually get it in for you the next business day.

We are so excited about new things coming in and we’re always working to get better. We’re expanding constantly and bringing in new services constantly. We’re going full blast at every angle. Our most recent addition is the Exclusive Store that carries a large line of Apple Computers and products.

Along with the sale of new computers we offer servicing that includes computer upgrades, backups, and data recovery. We have two A+ Certified Technicians on staff as well as a Canadore College apprentice. We are equipped to do service calls, set up networking solutions and are always available for bilingual technical support via telephone or e-mail.

With the growth of digital products in recent years we recognized the need for top quality digital services in the area. We offer the convenience of a digital kiosk for 4x6 and 5x7 prints, that you can print while you wait. Tricia ferguson our graphic artist offers digital restoration on damaged, faded and torn photos and other services including company logo and graphic design, collages and digital scrap-booking, slideshows, wedding album design and greeting card and digital template design. We offer wide format printing for photo enlargement.

Also Available is on site photo identifications for passports, Firearms (PAL, POL) Visas, Citizenship, Permanent Resident, Age of Majority and Photo ID cards.

Shannon Galarneau is the digital Photographer and co owner of the business. An indoor/outdoor digital studio is set up on the Galarneau’s lakefront property just outside of town, offering more diverse backdrops for weddings, event and portrait photography. Shannon also offers photography for weddings, portraits, sport events, school photos, pageant photography, parties and animal photography. She also offers one-on-one camera training with people who want to learn a little photography 101 and how to work their cameras.

Exclusive Computers has taken on Co-operative education students from the local high schools, as well as employing local graduates. In 2005 the Rotary Club of Kirkland Lake awarded Exclusive Computers with the Small Business of the Year Award. It was a really big honour for us. It told us that we’re doing a good job within the community and the people are looking upon us with good eyes. We bend over backwards for the customers and it works, and we believe that is why they keep coming back.
